Adjusting maternity pants

I have 2 pairs of maternity jeans and I had issues with both pairs. My first pair shrunk in the wash and became floods with my first pregnancy. The second pair were saggy butt jeans that I bought during my second pregnancy. I just lived with it during my second pregnancy and rarely wore the flood jeans. Most of my shirts covered the sag anyway.

Well, here we are with the third pregnancy and I want to wear my jeans and I want to look decent in them. I knew I had to make some adjustments so here is what I did:

1) With my first pair of jeans, I unpicked the hem, decided how long I wanted my jeans to be and re-hemmed my jeans. They are the perfect length now! The only problem is that now the bottom of my pants are darker than the rest of my pants and there's a white line due to wear at the bottom of my pants. I used a blue crayon to color in the white and then I ironed the crayon on to see if it would help. It did a little bit, but I'm not ashamed to have the darker bottoms and white lines. It's better than having floods! (Article: How to Remove Hem Marks)

2) With my saggy butt jeans, I used this video tutorial from Cotton and Curls to take in the seam. I still have to cut the seam out and iron it flat and then possibly do a top-stitch on them. I haven't decided if I'm going to do it, but I probably should so it looks better.

I didn't take any pictures yet, but maybe I'll get around to it soon.
